About THREE OAKS FARM ALPACAS

THREE OAKS FARM ALPACAS has been a family-owned farm for over 70 years, located on 60 acres in Forest Hill, MD. In 2010, we began our alpaca adventure after purchasing two female and one male Huacaya. We loved these animals so much that we acquired more for our breeding program and had quite a few born on our farm, allowing us to grow our family and business. Our agricultural educational facility now owns 15 to 20 alpacas on-site, depending on births and sales.

The owner, Pam Purce, has a lifelong love for animals and is passionate about teaching, which is why she opened our farm. During field trips and tours, she teaches children and adults about our interesting, intelligent, and quirky animals, as well as shares information about the crops growing throughout our site. In addition to interacting with alpacas, visitors can interact with and learn about chickens, rabbits, mini donkeys, pigs, horses, goats, sheep, and a “miniature” cow.
